I have worked in health and social care for 30 years and 22 of those in social care. I am a trained Nurse and have worked in various Hospitals and settings. I have been managing in Care Homes for 16 years. I hold NVQ level 4 in leadership and Management for care services.
I am passionate about person centred care and having good outcomes for our residents. I am always looking for ways in which people living with dementia can be supported to remain as independent as possible and to have purposeful days.
I believe being in care should not mean the end but a beginning of another chapter in life so I promote activities which create meaningful and purposeful days for our residents.
At Pelham House, we have a caring team who are passionate about what they do and dedicated to ensuring our residents always feel confident that they can rely on a friendly face. We encourage visits to Pelham House so you can meet our team and get a feel for what it would be like to live here. You will be welcome to look around, meet our team and other residents, find out what goes on, even stay for lunch; we are happy to answer any questions you may have. It is important to us that you make the right decision and are happy with your choice home.
